An Industrial Affair

One of the thrills I get from Wedding Planning is taking a blank slate and creating a canvas right from the couples visions. At the end of the day when they pronounce to you that it was more then they could imagine, I am fulfilled! This was by far my biggest challenge. A former Airplane Hangar at Magnuson Park, "Hangar 30" is 20,000 Sq. Ft. of pure concrete and windows. How do you possibly plan a ceremony and reception to have a good flow. You certainly have the room but how do you break it up? Sheers, 21' sheers hanging from the rafters to create the vision of sections. A section for the ceremony, bar and cocktail hour (later turned bar and dance floor) and dining. It was a brilliant idea I found after scouring through regular wedding sites I frequent, Pinterest and magazines. The results were just what we were looking for and it softens the room.
